I am looking to tidying up my Power/Data/Control cables in my PC and have the option of running some of them underneath the motherboard.
Does anyone have any advice about this. I am thinking
too hot
electrical interference etc
Thanks,

No problems with doing it, plenty of people use this method![]()
Thanks Gordy
just make sure they dont get ripped on sharp bits of solder![]()
Make sure the cables are insulated, and any joints or connections covered with heat shrink.
I've been using this method for a while with no probs so far!
-- AMD dual core 5000 CPU -- GeForce 7050M mobo -- 2 x 2Gb Kingston DDR2 PC5200 memory -- Winpower ATX650L PSU -- ### -- Sunbeam 4 way Rheobus with red/blue LEDs -- ...in the process of being updated April 2012
You can always put a plastic sheet between the cables and the board to be on the safe side![]()
