    Watercooling a CM 210

To cut a long story short, after purchasing an Innovatek Set 5 and trying without much luck to mount it into my case (CM 410) I gave up and bought a Hydrocool 200 system (using it with the Innovatek waterblock) which has been working fine for a a few months now.

I now have the following redundant parts

    Eheim 1048 pump
    IonnovaRadi radiator
    Innovatek res

After getting hold of a few CM cases recently I've decided not to sell these items anymore but instead mount them into an ATC-210.

    Intended layout

I don't think it'll be too hard to do but I want to change the system from 3/8" to 1/2". Can anyone give me some advice on this?

As for changing the system to take 1/2" tubing, you need to get yourself some of these from Over-Clock
    1/4" BSPT 1/2" Barb
They will change your radiator and pump to 1/2" tubing

Actually I found some brass barbs at www.coolercases.co.uk.

The rad will take two 1/4" BSPT to 1/2" (12mm) ID Tail Barb (Brass)

Pump takes one 3/8" BSPT to 1/2" (12mm) ID Tail Barb (Brass) and one 1/4" BSPT to 1/2" (12mm) ID Tail Barb (Brass)

When i was looking at barbs, I really wanted some metal ones, but the blue plastic ones are suprisingly good!
They go well with the blue in my case

Personally, I think you should put the reservoir in front of the pump, chap. So that it's:

    Res>pump>Rad>Blocks>Res

Although this might cause a bit of a re-figuring out where everything goes problem, but I'm pretty sure you'd get a decreased flowrate with the setup you'd be using now

Are you having the fan on the radiator as an exhaust fan?

Yes, with the exception of the PSU fans it will be the only fan in the system.

Ive got a similar layout to the first one, expect i havent bothered with the nb. I found that its best to have the res as the highest object so the bubbles and heat in the res rise. Idle i get around 33C. My res is in the drive bay as well with no hole for air to be released. Am devising some sort of plan to get rid of it though!

    Thanks

EDIT: Images edited so they will work for ya. Gordy
