Yep I'd say they are pretty good, only slightly louder than the 120mm version.
I had some 'evercool' branded ones in my beantech alu case - these are pretty much silent on 5v
E8500 - DFI P45 - 4Gb Corsair DHX - 4850 crossfire - X-Fi - water cooled and nice and quiet
the low speed panaflos (have an L on the end of the serial number) are very quiet run at 7V and pretty much silent at 5V
Try http://www.dorothybradbury.co.uk/ - been using her for years now, and the low speed panaflos are fantastic. Even sells them with 7V tails
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.
opened up my case the other day for maintainance, panaflo over cpu was not running, one of the wires had come out of its clip thing...! took a while to fix with limited spares i had but think something also wrong with cool 'n quite my mobo has...oh well, looking at getting a 120-80mm adaptor and a 120 fan and a fan-mate for some really quite running.

1. Nexus 80mm (Kustom PCs stock them)
2. Panaflo L1A (must be L1A)
The Nexus is quieter than than the Panaflo at 12v but at 6/7v they're pretty similar. The Panaflo has a greater CFM range across voltage levels than the Nexus. At 5v, the Nexus hardly pushes any air.
try the Sharkoon silent eagle 1000 - it's just 8.9dB(A) available from http://www.coolestpc.co.uk/acatalog/Sharkoon_Fans.html

Wow that's a nice site, very cheap panaflos.Originally Posted by Rythmic
