    UV reactive fans?

    Hi all,

    I'm after some UV reactive fans, specifically blue ones. Need 80mm and 120mm sizes but if anyone knows somewhere that has them in 92mm as well that could be handy.

    I know Sharkoon make 80s and 120s but according to their website they come with molex connectors - I need them with the little 3pin ones for connecting to a motherboard fan header. If this is not the case and someone knows where I can get the fans, please shout as I can't find them in stock at the places I usually buy off.

    ac ryan blackfire fans from kustompcs. shift a good amount of air (75cfm i think for the 120mm), they can be pretty noisy at full whack but they undervolt well. they have got 4 uv leds in them which you can disconnect easily.

    If they're UV LEDs they might look ok in there, all the other lighting in the case is UV anyway. If I did decide to disconnect the LEDs in the fans, can you tell me how I'd go about doing so? Is it a case of cutting wires?

    the AC Ryan LED fans use 2 supplies - 1 to power the fan & 1 to power the LEDs.
    So if you want to disconnect the LEDs you just disconnect the connector.

    *BUMP* ing this thread because it seems ACRyan have gone out of business...?? At least none of the etailers I normally frequent (or any of the ones I don't) seem to be able to get their stuff now.

    Anyone know anywhere else that does UV reactive fans in the normal sizes (80, 92 and 120mm)?

    I've got 2 Vantec blue UV reactive 80mm fans that you can have for a small consideration?
    These are UV reactive only (no LEDs) so you would need a UV light source (CC).

    There are quite a few UV fans on eBay, I got an awesome one which has a UV cathode around the rim.
