    Little Theory.

Sprung an idea late at work on friday evening, but didnt really have chance to think about it more.

2 of the same cases (or similar enough)

Strip them bare, fix together, and build back up using the once 2 cases, now as a huge case.

With the motherboard located horizontally at the base of the unit.

It leaves you then with enough room, for adequate cooling, wire management and airflow possibilities.

Just want to know if anyone might think its not viable?
Or wether its a good idea?

would be a lot of work getting the board to the bottom, you'd need to completely re-do the whole of the back panel with all the cut outs etc.

Although, it you took both the backs off, turned then 90 degrees and put them back on, it might work.

What would make your life easier was if you got two cases that were exactly (or close enough) twice as tall and they are wide, then you would have a sort of cube when you finished.

why not just take the 2 cases, put them together, then turn the whole thing on its side, and rebuild it that way.

Why not turn the cuboard under the stairs into a computer with a massive water cooling system?

It would be better to but the cases on thier sides and then just cutting holes between the two cases.
