    Unhappy "flashy" cases?

Okay, I've been charged with building a new pc for a friend, I've sorted out all the components apart from the case..

He wants one of those cases with the bubble lights on the front that change colour , and I have found one on ebuyer - http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=43005

Anyone actually used one of these before?

Give your friend a swift smack round the head for wanting such tat.

What about the Coolermaster Centurion for the same price?

My mate bought on of those.... oh dear. You can turn the lights on the front off which is pretty much what he did as soon as he realised how tacky the damn thing looked!!!

Black Cm centurion gets my vote to....

I had on of these cases (the one without the bubbles though!) and as a case, it's not too bad. Don't believe it's a very good alu mix though - case weight is about half way between alu and stell. The main problem is the plastic front bezel which looks cheap and tacky (nastily painted).

Swapped it for a Lian Li 65 now. Looks much, much, much better - and when you can pick them up from aria for not much extra...
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

I'm gettin' Coolermaster quality (with either an Aerogate or Musketeer for eye candy) as soon as I get the money together

With Coolermasters Centurian and the standard Antec at less than 50 quid - It's very hard to justify an el cheapo case now
