XBOX HD Player

Hi all, can you use the HD player to play your games. Becasue if so it would cut down that horrible noise and that would be great and i would be intrested.

Nope, you can only use it to play HD-DVD's and normal DVD's. If you put an Xbox 360 Game in it, you get the "Please Insert into Xbox 360 Console" error message you get if you put it into a normal DVD player.

I fail to see how that's 'crap'. Also, it would make much more noise than just playing a dvd anyway because the disc would have to spin much faster than a dvd or hd-dvd.

I find that it's about the same when watching dvd's. However when playing games the xbox is obviously much louder. It sucks

you all need to get some nice loud 5.1 speakers and you won't notice any noise coming from the internal drive
