But im comparing it to now... the PS3 has a larger hard drive etc.....as above not> 'The 20gb vs 60gb thing doesn't come into play until ms bring out a larger hdd.'
As I said, it doesn't matter at the moment. The price to compare is the off the shelf price. Some people have wired networks off which they run their xbox, so they don't need a wireless network connection. I think a large number of people won't even take these consoles on line anyway.
Not around too often!
??? Nostradamus ?
its not going to happen just because one WHOLESALLER has it cheap doesnt mean there is a price drop. There a wholesaller common they get the consoles cheap then cheapr
From bast price drops that is a sign that there possibly is going to be a price drop
I think they could have reduced it with the PS3 launch, but having seen the sales figures they've thought twice
Well lets keep in mind that probably 90% of 360 users will never get close to filling the 20gb that the console ships with. Plus games are designed without the need for a HD, unlike the PS3 (which has to include one due to this).
IMO, MS have had the right approach - Build the basic console, then let the user choose what they want to buy.
I have no need for Blu-ray (or HD-DVD) currently, nor wireless (my house has cat5e in every room), nor a HD really for the games I play - So I will be dammed if im paying for them by buying a PS3 when I have no use for them.
Sony really need a lower end model that just plays games, without the fancy features that loads of people will never use.
Why quote me on that ????
