    PS3 speech today

6.30pm is the time folks if anyone is thinking of tuning in.

There are number of websites providing live feeds from GDC where Phil Harrison will be apparently revealing some new stuff on PS3.

We'll have something on HEXUS.gaming news as soon as possible afterwards.

All proceeding comments are made by a self confessed 360 fanboy. Please bear this in mind

a price drop maybe or the announcement that most people arent interested lol. Maybe they are dropping further hardware from the European version such as PS3 support and hence it becomes a rebadged PSOne

Seriously though this could be mildy interesting.
Well, I can cut it in half!

is it too late to arrange a number of people to snicker in the background? maybe a "sony hates Europe" banner or two?

seriously tho. this isnt going to be worth the time to glance at the transcript nevermind listen to it. can see lots of "sales have so far been unprecidented" and similar "facts" coming up.

Some people are claiming there is going to be a BIG announcement. Gonna listen in and see what's going down, can't imagine it being anything half decent, but you never know.

I've tried googling for some links to video feeds from the GDC but had no luck. Could someone post a link to a site that will be showing the PS3 broadcast? I like to keep an open mind so want to tune in.

Due 'unexpectedly matching supply with demand' in other markets, the PS3 is in fact available to buy in the UK tommorow.

Engadget and Joystiq have it covered: http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/07/j...7-gdc-keynote/

Some very good announcements so far, Home is looking like a welcome addition and something the system will need to match up with the social aspect of Live. It has a whole host of cool features and is very similar to Second Life on the PC.

    So far so good!

A video of home can be found here. Scroll down a bit to game media and there it is, in HD to.

I have to admit visually it looks very impressive and if they deliver the features they plan on delivering it could be a good system for PS3 owners.
