Well the closed home beta trials are underway for US accounts, i think its only about 15,000 spaces which are invites only and appear in your playstation store as home beta download. I got us machine and account ( i live in ontario) this is the open beta trials website link,

I shall be going home and checking my ps store just in case i'm one of the lucky ones that have been chosen, its between now and october 3rd for open beta trials (worldwide) but limited to just 50,000 peeps, then its october 4th is its proper release date (i think)
