    PS3 owner thread

    So how are others finding their PS3 then?

    Got my PS3 today for £360 vat free from the airport

    Have to say its well worth every penny so far. Real HD on my 42" screen - hdmi 1080 is amazing. Watched a blue ray film and the quality is astounding, nice and whisper quiet in operation - hooked up on to the net on wireless with ease - all updated - downloaded latest Tekken for £6.99 in 1080 is the nuts. Motor storm tomorrow.

    How is everyone else finding this sexy bit of kit?

    Its great, but am using a projector at the moment, as I don't have a 1080P TV. Waiting to pay off credit card first, have my eye on the Samsung LE40M87BD

    Wish there was a VGA cable for the PS3 though, would look SO much better on the projector rather than through component.

    Nope, I've got one too. Took advantage of the Empire Stores deal (PS3+RFOM for £360) and have had it about 7 days now.

    Got to say that so far I really like it, usb drives, mice & keyboards work. My phone's blutooth headset worked straight away with it and I've enjoyed the games & demos I've played so far.

    Hopefully the price will come down soon and a few decent games get released and then it'll be a really good peice of kit.

    Got my PS3 last friday, saved 10% using my NUS discount at HMV online (only works if you buy console with game package as they dont give discount on console only) got component cable but wont run 1080p on my 2407WFP so ordered a HDMI-DVI to fully appreciate VT3. Also got the email yesterday saying i had succesfully registered my PS3 and would be receiving my Blu-ray copy of Casino Royale, happy customer i am indeed.
