    Blu-Blue play back is amazing - most reports say that it will win out over hd-dvd as well.

    Watched silent hill last weekend on blu-ray on a nice 42" samsung OMFG the detail and effects were extremely precise and enhanced, The difference from that and normal dvd is very noticable. luved it

    Silent Hill is a very bad example of Bluray.

    It uses MPEG2 encoding, which is no-where near as good as AVC (MPEG4) or VC-1.

    The uncompressed LPCM soundtrack is OUTSTANDING if you have the equipment for it tho

    i found silent hill better than casino royal (prob cus dont like the film), as for the lpcm audio...welll it was 5.1 and sounded great anyways, but i found the silent hill copy much better than the dvd...

    Just incase anybody is interested i got my free copy of Casino Royale on Blu Ray Tuesday, think i signed up to the PSN about 3 weeks ago so it's not taken long to arrive at all! quite surprised i got it actually as i had read on some other forums people not recieving there copys...
