What's the best deal on the X360 at the moment?

    Hello peeps.

I'm looking to buy my Fiancee an X-Box 360 (yes, it is for her, I'm not just poorly disguising buying myself one as a present for her!) but I don't really know where the best deals are at the moment.

Would like two wireless controllers, Gears of War, and some other games, with the premium console, around £300. Anyone spotted anything great recently?

I saw this, anyone beat it or seen similar with different games?

    Deal on Play.com

    Cheers guys.

Gamestation have one (or at least did, not sure if they're still doing it) that was similar to that one, may have been slightly better value but I don't think it was much better. Didn't have C&C 3, but had crackdown and a crappy wrestling game instead I think.

    in-store only BTW

There was some deals that the dixons based stores we're doing for 279 for the console and couple of games. If you do the collect at store thing, you can safe yourself abit to.

right now, there are enough good deals that you have no need to compromise - if a single item in a bundle is useless to you, find a better bundle (i.e. no crappy wrestling games!)

I got mine in HMV and took out a store card. That got me 10% off. I also had a student card which upped it to 15% off all in.

It was £300 with 2 games, 2 pads (premium pack).

This was in October btw, I'd imagine they're doing much better deals now. (or the same deal with better games)

I often wonder if anyone has actually sold a single standalone unit of Smackdown as opposed to bundling in with packs...

Those Scan deals aint bad at all...
What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...

anyone had any experience with gamestation pre-owned stuff?

and 2% quidco too if you buy online, does anyone know if they have the same price in store? as id prefer that with preowned stuff

Gamestation £305 is the best offer at the moment. Expect the price to drop slightly when the Xbox 360 Elite makes the rounds.
