After getting Forza and DiRT recently its getting pretty depressing after i think i have nailed a track to be told ive got the 9000th best time in the world so was wondering if any one has ever broken even the top 100 in these or any other 360 games ? Or even the Best player in the world achievment in GRAW 1+2

Mate - I'm right with you, I nailed a couple of tracks, inch perfect I was and I was still 10Kth in the world, depressing really!

Some people are just stupidly good at these games. Theres a big difference between going round a track pretty well (i.e. not on the grass, and went round the corners pretty quick) to doing a proper fast lap. It's all about getting through the corners as quickly as possible, and theres always room for improvement in cornering.

Depends on the car too. I'm playing DiRT at the moment, just put in an absolute shocker of a stage (flipped it once, hit the sides a few times, in the grass a bit) but because I was in the New Stratos I managed to get in the top 1000.

My best is 197th but thats because i was driving an 880hp Maserati MC12 around tsukuba in the mid engine cup , otherwise WAYYYY down.

Here's another one, I'm 6200th on one leaderboard on DiRT. If I filter it to friends only, the next guy is 11000th but was only 5 tenths of a second slower. Massive difference in place for the difference in time.

I was in the top 200 for one day. It was the day of release though!

I soon dropped into around 10,500th position.
