Ouch, only for Xbox? Can Xbox users download this and report back their first impressions?

    Re: Bioshock

This is direct translation of one Japanese xbox user's comment about this demo. Basically he's saying he's very impressed but in babelfish way

Also frame rate stabilizing, also expression of the water being very clean, considerably there is an atmosphere. Expression of the blood with like the liquid, it is the feeling which is different from the present game. (フェイント and/or and/or the edged tool in the wall the expression which is made the ドロドバ っ like the screen shot of CLIVE BARKER'S JERICHO) just it thrusts either the enemy without being and the て, running around and applying on that midst rubbing effect and animation and the map etc. it is made politely the spark tend っ it is as a り first impression, you felt that is.

I read Bioshock is based on Unreal Engine 3.0 so it really should make great use of EAX HD effects (like underwater sounds) that are processed in hardware. I think that's what they mean when saying this was optimized for use with X-FI sound cards...

I don't know about you guys but I've given up. 25% after 6 hours isn't really worth it. Off on holiday tomorrow so I'll just wait till I get back.

I started it downloading yesterday and it was 2 before it finally finished. I have to say I was impressed by the demo.

    Re: Bioshock

Started d/l at 8ish (am) finished around 10pm so looks like the servers are getting hit quite hard for this one, but my word I want the game now only on my pc it might be one of those games that are for the sofa but using a mouse/keyboard would be so much easier for aiming, but yeh overall quite good and should tide me over till crysis.

    Re: Bioshock

Been downloading since 5:15ish and I am still downloading as I post this. The server is really screwed; it was showing 87% complete then jumped back to 80% and now it is currently on 85%. My mate who lives down the road started downloading just after 8ish tonight and he finished downloading by half 9.
