    stranglehold demo

So what are peoples views of this from the demo. I thought the game was kinda boring and repetitive just pressing the right trigger constantly. Although it was cool that you could damage virtually everything around you

Very disappointed, graphics were poor, gameplay was poor (i felt it was too repetitive and it was the demo!). Probably wont be on my shopping list.

    Re: stranglehold demo

It was ok. I was expecting it to be like GTA instead of the set route that you have to take. Gameplay i thought was good, liked the standoff bits but other than that i thought it was basic.

    Re: stranglehold demo

I like the dodging of bullets, but I hate how you automatically slide over things even when you don't want to.

The bullet time thing has been done, I'd liked to have seen something different.

A bit repetitive, but I'm still going to pick it up. I get the feeling I'll play it once through and then that will be the end of it. I can't see multiplayer being particularly interesting.

    Re: stranglehold demo

I like it, I like the freedom of jumping onto anything and shooting anything. I loved sliding down a handrail and shooting loads of mobs and then getting to the bottom and jumping onto a cart and rolling along on the cart.. very John Woo!

    Re: stranglehold demo

I played the demo on the 360 and thought it was "ok" but it reminded me of 100% Max Payne with Kung Fu mod added on and more destruction/scene interaction.

Whilst it is fun for a bit there was little to no story element like Max Payne and no humour (LORDS AND LADIES??! lol)

It's certainly not a game I'd buy but more borrow off a mate for a weekend for a quick bit of fun.

    Re: stranglehold demo

    Hmmmm.

After playing it the only thing I feel like playing is Max Payne.... again! Boy that game rocked.... *wonders off to hunt down the cd* shame MP2 was crap, though.

Oh right, sorry. Stranglehold, yeah - wasn't a fan to be honest... might pick it up when it hits a cheapo price on play.
