Aslong as MS dont ban people who get it early, i'm in a position at work where i can often get games a week or so before official release, and if i got banned because of this it would suck.

It's a trilogy
I hate it when this happens.
As much as I dont like profiteering on Microsofts part, it's disappointing that places are selling the games prior to official release.
I've already expressed my views on Ebay and the exploitation of items of this type to achieve large profit margins, so I wont go into it again, suffice to say that I abhor it

i think the actual programming time has had very little effect on when the PC versions come out in relation to the XBOX/360's. the original halo was brought out way earlier so people would buy an xbox to play it, and with halo2 only just coming out for the PC, MS will want everyone hopping in the 360 version of H3 before even thinking about putting it out on the PC.

MS will leave Halo 3 an Xbox 360 exclusive as long as they can to help drive the console's sales.

We've got Christmas coming up so expect loads of Halo 3 bundling and, very likely, a TV campaign all telling us how we can only play Halo 3 on the Xbox 360.

I reckon that *perhaps* we'll see Halo 3 on the PC late next year, but that's at the very earliest, most likely it'll be 2009.

The PC first person shooter market is a lot more competitive than the Xbox 360 market. There's simply loads for Halo 3 to compete against if it sees a PC launch so for the brand it's better that it stays exclusively on the Xbox 360 for as long as possible.

I don't really se why people want it on the PC, all of the ports over to the PC have been terrible, and as far as a PC shooter goes, it's rather mediocre. It's designed for consoles, it should be kept on the consoles, it's too tailored for the analogue sticks.

It'd be better on the PC if they didn't release it years later, as it becomes rather dated by the time they release it. When I played the first one it was quite good, but when they released the second one on Vista it seemed behind the times (quite similar to the first) and I couldn't face trudging all the way through to the end
