    Nunchuck Smooth analogue mod

I'd recently been despairing after a great game recently was led down by the 8-way notches in the nunchuck getting in the way of smooth and actual analogue motion.

Wii Controller Modification...BYE BYE 8 WAY! HELLO FREEDOM!!! (perfect for NiGHTS 2) - NeoGAF

An answer I'd already been considering how to modify the nunchuck to allow me to fly properly, but it's nice to see someone had the same idea and showed thier solution, simble, a cone grinder and some fine sandpaper to make an alalogue controller truely analogue.

I'm gonna have to go out and buy some tools myself to do it on monday, but I'll let you know how it goes as I really want the full NiGHTS experience.

    Re: Nunchuck Smooth analogue mod

Well I got round to it on tuesday, but been waiting all this time for the video to encode, which it refuses to do, so for now it's pictures only.

Wii Nunchuck Mod - a photoset on Flickr

In short, it cost me £1.35 for the bits and sandpaper, I already had an electric drill and Tri-Wing screwdriver, and it came out really well and is a VAST improvement to gameplay, it's actually enjoyable again!
