Help Needed With A Xbox 360

hi i am new to the forum, so dont know if i am placing this in the right section.

i have a xbox 360 and was playing it last night when the game froze and a red light appeared beside the green on switch.

what does it mean and how do i sort it out.

My 360 got 3 red lights about an hour ago, 2nd 360 dead!

no it just one red light doesnt flash and i get no error code.

If you have 3 red flashing lights its dead ring MS and get it sent off for repair.
