whoo hoo, the next update is going to include bikes and a night time mode!!

This is the biggest news in Burnout history!

For the first time, we'll let you loose in a Burnout game on motorbikes!

And because we're dedicated to bringing you game-changing new Burnout Paradise content all year, bikes will feature their own game modes, challenges and even some new locations tailored to fit their unique performance and handing characteristics.

The other big news relating to bikes is that we've introduced night-time to Burnout Paradise for the first time.

We wanted to clear the traffic out a little to give you the chance to learn how to ride in safety, and we've always wanted to cruise the streets of Paradise City with incredible night-time visuals.

We expect to ship bikes as part of our Davis software update, due for release sometime in August.

As always, we're bringing you the hot news from Criterion Games as it happens. Hit the site soon for more news and the first high-definition bike footage.

Not really the next, theres 2 (or maybe 1 by the time you read this ) updates still to come, Bogart (due out today I think) and Cagney (in June), Davis is for August and will have bikes

Sorry after further reading it seems there is the update due today/tommorrow and the bike one as you say in august, what with the cod4 maps and this update due today, metal who online what??

shame the game sucks compared to previous titles

Its a mixed bag.

Its sounds better, looks better, and in offline single player, plays better than Revenge, due to the open plan city. Once you do all there is to do and jump on line for some bread and butter racing, its not a patch on Revenge.

Clumsily driving around your own, or someone elses, made up route, trying not to take a wrong turn, can't compare to the hectic racing on the proper tracks that revenge had.

So better single player, worse multiplayer, is how I saw it.

Read about this update for the 360 as well, mentioned motorbikes, so assuming the updates are the same, you'll have them to mess about on. Night time racing too...

Yeah, and an update in June/July to add more online game modes, custom sound tracks and a new island (or new area of some kind) I THINK.
