Whoo hoo! A racing game! I'm going to download it later. Anybody tried it yet?
I'm a bit of a racing nut and this looks like one of the better games, hoping it lives up to expectations.

looks to arcady
Eagerly waiting the PC version - looks fantastic.
If this is anything like CM : Dirt its an instant buy for me. Loved that game and I'm pretty sure its the same engine, physics etc!
Getting it now, I've never heard of it so It'll be a surprise.
I really like the demo, still can't get the hang of the drift event and get up about 600 k of points. It puts to shame other games which have attempted to have drifting events, such as juiced, need for speed underground onwards etc. It feels just like CM: Dirt so not a game for people who hated the car handling etc in that game. The instant replay feature is awesome especially how you can jump into the action from a point in the replay especially after a nasty collision with a tyre wall! I'll be preordering it soon![]()
I'm waiting for the PC version of this game, can't wait!
I admit that the handling of the cars is far from realistic but its just something about the speed and feel of the game I like. The replay function is awesome as well how you can control the speed of slow mo using the right triggerHow are people getting on with the drifting event? I'm finding it hard to slide past flags and get the points for being close to them... Not to sure what I'm doing wrong or what the correct technique is ...
this game is utter pants and tehre is futher news tha coemasters have now bought the F1 licence! we are truely screwed now
i just had a go and didn't like it either, its like banger racing with expensive cars on a circuit
Lol!

To actually add to my comment (having now played it)
The game handling is too waffly, it's far too easy to oversteer, even with very careful throttle control the cars suddenly snap from one extreme to another
drifting was fun, but same for dirt, FAR too much HDR for me
I was hoping for good things from this game as I loved DIRT. Unfortunately after playing the demo of GRID I wouldn't think of buying it. Handling is pretty poor, the cars feel as though they have no grip or not connected to the road. It's definately one for people who like their arcade sytle racing and flashy graphics. I just hope Codemasters don't use the same engine for their upcoming F1 title!
