i got my copy yesterday, (the joys of running a games store) it'll take longer than 8 hours. I spent an hour just chopping wood. Oh and it batters mass effect, which is one of the dullest games ive ever played.

Eggs-zaktly. Mass Effect is boring. End of story.
Other person - £39.99 is standard price innit? What I usually pay for a brand new game.
What it costs at GAME and Gameplay.
37 at tescos, but i suppose it depends on how close you live to one, mine is only 5 mins away by foot.
So I could have saved £3 on the sticker price and 99p postage... well yeah, maybe worth it, but its ordered now, and its been well freezing today.

i'll ty picking his one up at work tomorrow, not sure thats a good idea though i have far too many other games to play through first!!
Been playing it tonight, compared to mass effect it's different in less shooting oriented and more close combat/magic
The achievements are a hoot though, I got married in the game tonight, going for an orgy tomorrowand hopefully father a child in the game
Not had a chance to do the mulltiplayer yet, but will try that over the next few days with people from work, as our copies were sent out on monday so most got them today

As it may only take 8 hours of the main quest Oblivions main quest must be somewhere around that time but I still managed to rack up over 100 hours on it.
only played half hour but so far no complaints looks good controls work ok
really loved getting the chicken kicker award although my 4 year old son became a little distressed with me and asked me to stop kicking birdies cos it's nasty!!
