Digital audio output from Xbox 360?

I have an early Xbox 360. Unless i'm missing something, I can't spot any sockets for digital audio output (either coax or optical). Does anyone know if it's possible to get a digital audio output signal from an Xbox 360? Perhaps i'm not looking hard enough!

its on the actual lead i thought, the component lead

^ Thanks, just spotted it. It's well hidden away on the connector that plugs into the 360 - that's on the component cable at least.

Yeah it took me a while to work that out also, had i known this is the only way to get 5.1 on 360 i would have got some different speakers
