i thought there was a bit on the xbox site where you can change which console the download was linked to because some downloads are done by gamertag and console serial and when you get yours replaced obviously the serial has changed

Did that too and no luck

sweet, just got my first 360 back from repair and its been replaced with a new console dated 12 10 2008. Which means no more noisy dvd drive.

a 1 week turnaround as well


Now i need to work out which is the better to use as the main console

i got mine back aswell with an 08 date on the back but its still an old revision (no hdmi and the heat thats coming out of the back, well, lets just say i have so much faith in it i think my gf is getting me a new one for christmas, then i'll trade the old one in.
