I've played about an hour and I must say it's really good. The graphics are nice as well.

Is it really any good?

I've never even heard of it before, and all of a sudden there is loads of adverts and hype surrounding it. I think I might of missed the boat. Ive looked on youtube and it doesnt look any good.

Can I ask what makes this fps so good in comparisson to all the others out there (cod, far cry etc)?

It's better than COD WAW but I don't know about Far Cry 2 as I haven't played it yet. Some parts of this game are very intense and remind me of Left For Dead, this one is so much better than the last Resistance.

look at metacritic its getting very good scores, this will wait though because, fallout far cry ..etc

Still waiting fro a good fps for ps3 to temp me to start playing fps on consoles as well as pc's. Is this any good? didnt really think to much of the first one and didnt like the online bata of ths game as there were too many people connected with no structure to the game.

Just finished it, rather impressed as it's the first FPS to hold my attention on a console and the final weapon for the dash at the end was kind of entertaining! Frustrating at times as usual for a console (I am too used to a mouse letting me change my aim faster than you can with a stick...) Might even do a little more in the SP to unlock a few extra bonus option thingumies. Not tried it online yet...
