    Little Big Planet

Anyone else got this game yet? My missus ordered it for me and I'll be getting it Xmas day.

Very much looking forward to playing it, does it live up to the hype?

Yeah its great little game what i have seen of it. One of the most original i have seen for a while.

I got it for the missus for xmas but shes already started playing it

Looks, sounds and plays great, and the Stephen Fry commentary is classic as well

There's no way words can do this game justice.
    Its incredible!

I think the closest desciption I could conjur would be "Digitised happiness".

In my most recent creation i made a skyscarper sized recreation of my face compiled of millions of blocks. I then made a huge see saw, one end with a button, the other a bullseye and not too far of a menacing looking hammer.

I dont think i've ever had the same feeling of glee playing a game as i have seeing my sackboy fly at 100mph over my level grinning like an idiot and ploughin into my face to uncover millions of points. And i think other users were happy to have a me manakin as a prize for completeing my level

My friend has got me it for Christmas ... He still hasn't come over and dropped it off! Might have to go round his house with a mallet.

    Re: Little Big Planet

So then what do people think? Been playing it for about 4 days now and I'm seriously hooked.

    My PSN name is Floodie

Well worth in my opinion the £20 price tag.

I'm the same. My daughter loves it. To me it's just a fancy platformer. Perhaps i haven't played it enough but after about 20 minutes I got bored and put Ratchet and Clank on again.

    Re: Little Big Planet

It's such a good game. Especially with a few friends round and a couple o' beers. It partly reminds me of how good it felt to play mario and sonic, when I was a lot younger!

And Stephen Fry's commentary is also splendid.

It's both wonderful and horribly addictive.

    Re: Little Big Planet

I think it's an incredible little game, and Stephen Fry is the icing on the cake.

Wish it got more positive recognition though in terms of sales, poor Media Molecule.

The music issue didn't help things, to be honest I don't think they have been pushing it massively. I have not seen a single press or TV ad for it. Saying that though, its at the top of the Amazon.co.uk league table for sales.
