Bit of a pointless thread but just had to say my 3 year old daughter managed to get hold of a ps3 game and a Blu-ray film and put them in the washing machine. My wife put clothes in and washed them on a 40 degree heat, without realising the two cases in there.
The outcome was the paper inserts were in a pulp state and the cases had the paper stuck to it but the actual Blu-ray disc's were fine, the game played fine as welll as the movie, i saw the funny side once i realised the disc's were ok.
It is a well known fact that Blu-Rays can only be killed by Giant Crabs
Blu-Ray increases the clarity of your washing.
True story.

I suppose that's one way to remove fingerprints from the bottom of the discs.
This is one the the unknown reasons why Blu-ray beat HD-DVD. It is one of the industries worst kept secrets.
