Question PSP, new memory card, data transfer?

I've just bought a new PSP 3000 because my original PSP, one of the first batch released, has stopped working.

The original PSP came with a memory card, the new one doesn't. I've ordered a 2Gb card but need to transfer the gamesaves from the old card to the new one.

Can I just put the old card into my PC card reader and copy everything to the PSP via a USB cable?

Thanks for any help in advance.

I like the new PSP because its lighter but it feels so much cheaper and nastier than the original, but I guess that's progress.

Yeah, a copy and paste should work fine.

Thanks for that, a lot of the games I have I'll probably get rid of but there are a few I don't want to have to start again.
