Get a Slim N' Lite (2000) second hand, it's screen is arguably better than the 3000 and it will play everything the PSP Go will. Only composite TV out if I remember though.

The Go was probably started with good intentions, but too many cooks have meddled with it. This is classic Sony. Probably the same idiot that roadblocked MP3s on MiniDisc and loved SonicStage. They will keep doing it untill they have lost the market and making the right choices doesn't matter.

For the record I am listening to a MP3 Walkman right now. I don't hate Sony, just the managers and meddlers that put upon the hardware guys there.

Now that you can get the PSP GO for £150 it is deffo more enticing for me anyway.

original PSP all the way for me. Sony are still attempting (along with other companies) to freeze out the pre-owned / second hand game market, using piracy as a cover for their actions.

Not just related to PSP (which does have some piracy issues), but pc and Consoles in general.

Interesting point. Piracy on the PSP made the games load more quickly than UMD, so there is a weird sitution where the pirated version was better to play than the UMD.

I have a 2000, I buy games but my psp have never had a UMD in it, I just play the pirated version.

I'm sure alot more people do the same.

Re: Sliding PSP or the regular one?

Borrowed my mates PSP 1000 whilst he is in NZ on holidays. I am pretty convinced now I will trade in my DS Lite for a PSP 3000.

I'd like to know what colours you folks bought. Classic black is my fall back, but Blue sounds rather interesting. Any thoughts?
