Sliding PSP or the regular one?

Are you fascinated about the latest psp design?

Do you like the sliding thing or you were fine with the original unsliding one?

Not interested in a upgrade until they put the right hand analog stick on them

Personally I find the Slims aesthetics to be alot more desirable, the Go! just looks o0glie!

Won't happen until PSP2. What would be the point in having it right now? No current games would be compatible, so completely a waste of time until the real replacement comes out.

I never knew, it would be so uncomfortable playing with just one analog stick. I thought maybe we can do without it. Coz we hardly use the right analog stick on our ps2. Only in certain games, where you want the camera to rotate(but its really what I want), is the right analog stick used. God of war was an exception, coz it was so beautifully and brilliantly designed that you never felt the need of the right analog to rotate the camera(Unlike MGS 2, where you always wanted that there should have been the rotating camera feature).

But then the other point is true, until and unless the entire psp gaming comes off age and all the old games are old enough to die to dust, only then they would think of the right analog. Valid point.

Then I wont be buying any others. I am happy enough with my old phatty PSP, it has served me well and the new ones are not worth the money for the small changes they have made to them really.

Original PSP is nice to hold and can play on it for ages. I don't really see the appeal of the slide, it doesn't protect the screen so it just makes it a bit shorter. Price tag is a bit steep too.

Your right they have added very little value to the newer versions, they probably only made them to kill the homebrew scene the original is great and I totally agree you point about the lack of screen protection on the slide, personally I have always thought the psp's downfall has been the software lineup not it's hardware, it really has relatively few outstanding games.

it would seem that the PSP Go is doomed to failure after seeing sony's latest announcement

tempted to but not overly confident with sony's warranty after watching the thing on watchdog. granted it only occurs with a small number of consoles but i'd be pretty miffed if the ps3 i brought died after 3 years, yet alone 1. would be a slim one if i did but will have to see what turns up at christmas cant see the point buying a blu-ray player when for about 40 extra can have a games console and media streamer
