What a damned good piece of software for the £17.99 I paid for it. Once you get past the annoying drone of the trainer the ropey graphics, it's basically a good little virtual aerobics class.
OK, it has its faults, basically very little in variation of music to exercise to & what there is is ....rubbish. And it's repettetive, very, but then aerobics classes generally are. But all that aside, I don't care. Even my wife, a hardcore fitness fanatic was impressed with her copy & uses it daily.
I got my copy to help me get back in shape after some serious hospital time & not being able to use a gym for a few months. Plus, one of the main benifits, (im my book anyway), as a 40 yr old unfit bloke, is that you can do it in privacy. So when you're trying in vein to follow the virtual instructor & looking like an epeleptic gibbon on acid, no one cares. You can stop, and try again without getting trampled by a herd of hevily perspiring rampaging housewifes (however much that image may appeal)
Nice touches include being able to add in hand weights, a step, HRM & exercise ball if you have them & they can be incorporated into the programme. You can choose a number of workout regimes from CV to flexibility to upper body. However you can't combine, which would be nice. It's nowhere near as polished as Wii fit & the stats & progress/performance tracking aren't as good either. But it's just great value for what it is, not the usual overblown new game price of most Wii titles.
