Closing the final gate of Oblivion...?

    Hi Gents and ladies...

I'm on the final quest of Oblivion IV and a little stuck, some of the gate of Oblivion are a little tricky to work out, I have closed every single gate which has opened and now I'm on the final gate which I need to close within 10 minutes and I'm a tad we little stuck. If anybody has been through the final gate how do I get over to the other side...? I have 6 minutes left to close the gate. This has to be the hardest gate of them all and the only one which I have had a problem with. I need to get over to the other side but the bridges are broken.

Re: Closing the final gate of Oblivion...?

    Oh thank you kind Sir.

It's a great game and yeah I'm 3 years out of date but it's one of those games where you go? "Shall I buy it or not...?" Not my kind of game really, but am I glad I eventually bought the game. I only bought it because it was on offer with BIOSHOCK and I never thought I would ever play a game like this because I have always found them... Well it little but yeah as I sad glad I got it because it's been an epic game to play. The map is massive and one of the biggest I have seen since Fallout3. Although I do believe FO3 is not the same engine Oblivion IV but an earlier one just tweaked a little.

I see you jump across the bridge I was gong to do that but I thought the gape was too big to jump across, I'll give it a go and let you know what happens.

Thanks again I really appreciate the help.

I'll say one thing, when I got the game the guy in the shop said be prepared for long hours and late night playing this game because the maps are massive. I thought nothing of it but he was right.

I spent far too much time playing that game. I personally preferred it to Fallout 3 too.

I lost my life to Oblivion, played through all the expansions also and done all the faction quests. Its just such a good game, Shivering Isles is well worth getting if you have loved the main campaign.

Re: Closing the final gate of Oblivion...?

OMG I need a drink after that... and there's me thinking that was the end that has to be one of the hardest levels out of the entire game.

I'll tell you one thing I had 2 minutes left to close the get, and I'm sweating like a pig (no disrespect to the pig mind, I'm a Vegei) The good part about this level is that when you open the gates you are so hell bent on killing the two deamons you do not notice there is a tower in the middle. Cunning designers of the game very clever of you to put these two here when the gate opens it takes your consentration of the tower in the middle.
