Why you would want to buy GT over Forza though is beyond me...
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Ask that question to any racing fan. its like saying why would you buy a football game that on paper looks the best one?

All im saying is GT5 could potentialy blow away forza 3 given with the amount of features it has over Forza 3 by that little list of features.

If i was honest, i never enjoyed a single GT game and prefered Forza

Re: The PS3's ACE up its sleeves?

We'll be finally buying a PS3 when this drops, but we are big GT fans right from the start.

whether we get a new "slim" or regular fatty is undecided.

hmmm strange question really. Put "on par"? - think you will find many people will already preference the PS3 as "over par" to the other consoles. All comes down to preferences doesn't it?

I enjoyed the prologue as a taster, and sure the real deal will not disappoint.

Re: The PS3's ACE up its sleeves?

if the delays hadnt been so long on gt5 i definitely would have bought one instead of my 360.

cant afford to own both consoles and selling mine with 50 games i would lose so much cash.

IF i could afford it i would buy one just for gran turismo 5

Re: The PS3's ACE up its sleeves?

oh brother... not another forza-GT fan fight..

They are two games, similar genre and both plays right..

But I have a PS3 and I also have 2 G25 steering wheels so GT is probably infinitely more accessible for me now..

Nevertheless, Forza is a good game..
    Me want Ultrabook

I've always wanted to race a Prius. Not.

Still think I'll get an X360+ FM3 over this though.

Its not a fanboy fight unless you turn it into one. the fact that most people here with a 360 would buy a ps3 just for this game just shows how important this game can be for sony if they get it right.

Re: The PS3's ACE up its sleeves?

ok not a fact but it seems like a majority would. have a read on the GT5 thread and there are a few 360 users who would consider buying a ps3 just for GT5.

Re: The PS3's ACE up its sleeves?

Seems there may be a little confusion with this "announcement". PD have pulled the information from their website, so things are pointing to a slight mis-communication. If they had made this announcement then it would have been during the Sony conference last night, and not just on their own Japanese language website. I suspect that the real announcement we be at TGC at the end of the month.

But if this is the real deal, there are indeed some nice new features, especially the eye toy one

    damage vid http://www.gamersyde.com/download_gr...-12436_en.html

edit: and for the record- its nothing to do with having a 360 and getting a ps3, the ps3 will be a vehicle for playing GT and pretty much nothing else. if you could buy a ps3 that could ONLY play GT games for £150 then i would do that
