    Infinity ward, wtf.

The other day i went into Game and noticed COD 4 retailing at something like £45.

Seriously have they never herd of depreciation?

That would be true if it depreciated, and in all fairness after nearly 2 years ownership and 240+ hours online playtime i can safely say it hasnt. Also its up to GAME to set the prices how they want not IW.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Nope the publisher sets the rrp. But if people are still buying COD4 at £45 after 2 years then they need their head examining.

Yeah, i found it pretty strange. Surely people aren't still buying it at that price.

It's still £30 on Steam and still in the top sellers lists so people are still paying top whack for it. Few people at work bought it for the 360 at £30+ new. The game is so good and the sheer amount of hype and word of mouth for the game has kept it high in price. The price won't drop as people are still buying it.

Same will happen with MW2, especially with activision bumping the price to £45+ so when it does drop in price it will still be £30+ and people will still lap it up.
