    Sixaxis analog stick problems??

Everyone knows that the sticks end up losing their ability to spring back to it's center after prolonged use, right? Well both my Sixasis pads have had this happen to the left stick, so when you push it up or left or whatever it just stays in that position. It is a nightmare to play most games especially if any precision shooting or driving is involved.

What exactly is the problem with them and can it be sorted by myself? I have a couple of spare pads from the PS2 that could be used for any parts that might be needed so is it do-able?

The pad is horrible anyway, maybe just buy a 3rd party madcatz one and see if your troubles are solved ?

CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

    Re: Sixaxis analog stick problems??

I have 2 "Dualshock 3's" as well and I love them. I had bought 3 third party controllers in a 6 month period after the analog sticks broke and none of them lasted the month LOL. One was a MadCatz one and worked great for about a week and then out of the blue it started making the XMB open and close like you were pressing the Home button on and off constantly. I took it apart thinking maybe something had become stuck but it all looked fine (from what I could tell anyway)

I was thinking of selling it if I could get it fixed as it is still in great looking shape. I am not one for throwing my pads around the place like some mad loons when they get took out on COD4 or something LOL

That happened to one of mine too, i have 3 controllers so when me and my bro play 2 players we just avoid using it. Also on my dual shock the left "trigger" is loose too so it sometimes presses itself in!
