Sorry, you are quite right, there were a number towards the beginning of the thread that I had forgotten about and missed when I looked back over them

Very true, the Kingdom Hearts game are excellent, with some beautifully laid out (if somewhat weird) stories, i used too play them and now my son plays them to.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game, a must have for anyone who grew up in the 1980s.

The Simpsons Game is worth a play through for those who are familiar with the world of Computer Games as the refrences/jokes etc are hilarous.

Re: Games 2 play before you die

I know there are a lot of RPG's on this list, but my personal opinions are all RPG's despite me hardly being a great player of them these days.

For the classics, definitely Final Fantasy 8.

But I'm also a big fan of Bioware RPG's like KOTOR 1 & 2, and Mass Effect. Needless to say, I really need to play Dragon Age and I am very excited to get my hands on Mass Effect 2 when it's out.

I love these games because I become totally captured into the fictional world, and I love the way there's so many mixed emotions, even with romance subplots. When I completed Final Fantasy 8 as a kid, the story of it left me effected for a whole week! (I was a bit of a dork into books and things but still! the story was so compelling). These games definitely leave me with such a better feeling when I complete them than normal games do.

Gears of War 2 was actually pretty good too as it had the same mix of emotions and since I completed the game pretty quickly it felt like one giant movie, and an incredible experience. Considering I didn't really like Gears 1 too much, it was a big improvement to me!

To the above, I didn't really enjoy the Ghostbusters game that much, it was very visually impressive but quite boring and repetitive. But I enjoyed being back in that Ghostbusters world!

Deadspace! loved the atmosphere and gameplay and story, and it's so cheap to buy nowdays it's worth every penny. Another good one is mass effect, great rpg with a great story, cannot wait for the new one.

Re: Games 2 play before you die

Here are a few that have not been listed yet and maybe a couple of repeats cause they just so good u gotta mention em twice.

Command & Conquer the first decade
Quake Live <-- free fast fps fun
    Farcry 1&2
    Flatout 1&2
    Battlefield series
    Diablo
    Starcraft 1+brood wars
Gta 1/2 <-- if you can find someone to play multiplayer with they are great fun
    Any of the Worms Series
    Duke Nukem 3d
    Left 4 Dead 1/2
    Crysis
    Transport Tycoon

Thats prolly my most played games to date upto now. Alot of older games are great multiplayer but unfortunatly dont have the comunity anymore.
