They don't make em like they used to...

I'm a full on nintendo head. I love my xbox, ps3's pretty cool, but i was more excited than anything about the nintendo wii. The 64 is the best console ever hands down. Zelda, Banjo... They don't make games like that anymore... Goldeneye was too good. FPS's nowadays all seem the same, overshadowed by Call Of Duty.

I loved the new zelda, and metroid, but my wii isn't really getting any points for me.

I copped madworld, dope **** but got old quick.

Super Smash Bros Brawl is pretty much a weekly thing with the mates, but still, it just doesn't feel right.

What are your favourite games on the wii, or any coming soon you honestly think gives the system hope?

And don't say the new super mario bros. **** doesn't even look that fun.

I liked my N64, but the SNES was better IMHO. I mainly use my Wii to play SNES classics again nowadays although occasionally break out the Guitar Hero. Might end up selling it though - I barely use it now tbh.

Don't have anything as modern as a wii, but on the gamecube I still play Monkey Ball 2, Metroid Prime, Mario Kart, Zelda, Gauntlet, BGark alliance, SSX, Rebel Assault, Soul Calliber and probably others I've forgotten.

.. of course - that's if he's not naughty, and has a moderator deleting his posts... and of course he still has to wait till midnight of course....

(Not that I'm insinuating that he would be a naughty person!)

Well, we all start posting from a base of 0 - at some point (including me).

Hyper Sports was quite playable as well "In that Genre". Death Chase by Micromega was strangley addictive & I can always remember playing Chuckie Egg before I upgraded from a 16K RAM Pak to a 48K!!

guess its all really down to the generation you first started proper gaming on, i had an amstrad cpc464 but got a megadrive after that followed by a playstation then a pc
while ive probably played far more hours on pc than anything else mostly rainbow 6 - rogue spear, wolfenstein enemy territory and now bad company 2 probably the most enjoyable games and times were on the 2d scroller genre on the megadrive, strider, streets of rage, hellfire etc

When the graphics get "better", all too often playability suffers.

Look at Sensible Soccer, so many hours waisted with my friends on that.

Now if it's not 3D it won't sell.

Some indie games are bucking the trend so there is still hope.
