    Resident Evil 5 DLC

    Lost in Nightmares

I bought it knowing that it would be short but I have honestly played longer game demos. This in itself would not be such an issue, were it not for the lack of enemies. I could forgive the same tired, old puzzles if there was actually something to kill

The concluding section of the game was a joke

Capcom, I demand the return of Zombies and the ditching of this tedious Las Plagas nonsense- nobody cares.

The new mercenaries characters and level tweaks did make it still worthwhile however.

    Re: Resident Evil 5 DLC

Cheers dude, saved me a few quid there. I was going to buy RE5 again preowned or something just for the chance to play through the old Spencer Estate again but I don't think I'll bother if it's that short. Capcom really don't get the concept value for money when it comes to DLC do they...

I'd like to see the return of proper Zombies as well, Racoon City too, I'd much rather rock round there than some fake African/Spanish villages. Maybe as part of the inevitable Umbrella clean up team after they nuked the place. Being part of an Umbrella team (proper left 4 dead style online co-op anyone?) might be a nice change of perspective.

It just feels like such an empty experience. There are only about 10 enemies and 20ish minutes of gameplay- that was hardly a speed run either

Again, having a dozy AI partner getting in the way and dilluting the tention does it no favours. There is another episode due soon but i'm not sure if i'll bother. Lots of people seem to have enjoyed this though, maybe its just me.

That would be good. I long for the atmosphere and feel of RE2, Code Veronica and Nemesis. Oh, and the shotgun head splitting

The new addon Desperate Escape is out now but the achievements are broken at the moment and are unatainable.

    Re: Resident Evil 5 DLC

It's more of a return to the classic resident evil gameplay, I quite enjoyed it. A lot of reviews suggested it should be played on veteran to get the most out of it, took me about two hours with a relative beginner as partner. I reviewed it on the site I write for, link in my sig if you care.

From today, you can now get your gnarled zombie hands on Lost in Nightmares, Desperate Escape and Costume Packs 1 and 2 (featuring four character costumes) in one downloadable shot for 960 Microsoft Points where the indivdual packs would have previously set you back a combined price of 1120MS Points.
