Hi folks,
I'm thinking of buying an old PS3 with a faulty blu-ray drive for the bedroom to use for streaming/iplayer & PSN games such as Blue Toad Murder Files that don't need a disc.
My question is can I download (for free) games again on a 2nd PS3 using the same PSN ID to acheive this or would I have to pay for them again?

You can download them again, I think the only limitation is you can't be signed in on more than one ps3 at a time.
Upto a limit of 5 PS3's IIRC. However, some stuff will NOT redownload; Singstar tracks are the one that springs to mind; they end up being locked to a single PS3.
Games can only be downloaded to 5 different machines before you got to pay for them again at the rental store xD

Cheers, seems they're around the £80 mark. Might wait untill I can get one a little cheaper though
