Must have games for the 360

Just got myself a 360 elite and would like a list of must have games, first person shooters are my favourite.

Bioshock, Gears of War, Oblivion, Forza, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Rainbow Six Vegas, Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising, Assassin's Creed, GTA IV, Fable 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Borderlands, Orange Box, Call of Duty, Battlefield Bad Company, Dead Space.

You might have some of those on other formats but it's a good list to kick you off, I'll probably recall a few more titles shortly and add them to the list.

I'd recommend Dragon Age: Origin's, Lost Odyssey and Final Fantasy XIII is you like your RPG games.

I got forza 2 and bad company 2 with it but i've just sold the latter on ebay cos i have it on pc. Need to get myself a copy of modern warfare 2 to play online which is one of the main reasons I got the xbox to be honest.

Not into that type of rpg to be honest, but give me the other type (rocket propelled grenade) any day!

That's a good list of games but for the time being i wont be getting any more as I'm hooked on forza 3.

I wonder how many hours it takes to complete the whole game?

IF you like raicing games Burnout Paradise is a great game.

the mass effect games are awesome.

I loved bayonetta but it really split people a friend thinks its the worst game ever made.

I've been into racing sims ever since gran turismo on the ps1.

Is burnout a simulation type game or more arcade like?

Its a very arcadey racer. Lot of fun but if you are into the realisting sim than forza is a better option

Assassin's Creed 1 and 2
Halo 3

well over 250 hours of play there.

I've got it on both PC and 360 and actually prefer to play it on the 360 with the controller with my feet up on the couch

I've created faaaaar to many characters on my HDD and have to delete one now if I want to start another lol

If you like forza 3 and racing games in general.. check out Grid.. well its actually called Race Drive Grid... Should be able to pick it out pretty cheap (£10ish) and its well worth your time.. this is coming from someone who loved forza 2 so much I got to level 50 and cant buy forza 3 as I currently don't have the time to get addicted to it.

Dirt 2 is meant to be a lot of fun but I have not tried it yet, I tried the first Dirt and it was good, just a bit to 'arcadey' for me.

And its been said a few times bit pick up mass effect, Yes its an RPG but it is also one of the best games on the 360 easily. I would say pick up the second one as well although I have not played it.. again I dont have time to get addicted to it!

ive got Dirt 2 on PC, its a solid game quite entertaining and online is great as long as collisions are off.

Forza 3 is a good game too.
