Race Pro for simulation type. PGR3/4 for a more academy/street circuit feel.
And of course, the plethora of multi-platform stuff like NFS, Dirt 1/2 and GRiD.

Race Pro will be worth checking out thenI've got no desire to play through the NFS series on the 360 when I've done it on the PC, but I may check out Dirt 2 as its such a faff getting it to run on the PC.
Race Pro and Need for Speed: Shift are good sims for X360.

With the right settings, yes. It's based on the old GTR engine. Admittedly you can't tweak the physics in the X360 version, but set to most realistic it's better than anything else apart from Race Pro (which is another step better).Originally Posted by Terbinator

Coming soon, the very (looks like it'll be) essential : Need of Speed Hot Pursuit.
Driving games 'drive' me bonkers and angry, yet this is one I might just go for.
And just you wait for DiRT 3.

project gotham racing is a good series especially 4 with the inclusions of bikes never tried race pro but definitely try it out seems like a decent sim
I have Forza Motorsport 3 and PGR 4. I like Forza 3 since it has nice quality and some nice cars. but i also like PGR 4 since is has really fast cars and motors. You can also buy Race Pro, Grid and Dirt
I loved Forza 3 but my favourite racing game at the mo is F1 2010 the gameplay is fantastic but the detail in the tracks and cars is something else.
Hot Pursuit turned out to be excellent fun. Online is rage inducing, though that might just be me and the fact I'm s**t at games

If formula 1 is your bag I'd definately consider it, my favorite racing game so far.
Forza 2 is more realistic to me than Forza 3 and should be cheap
Need for Speed is good fun. Its not as realistic as some people like their racing games, but its a very good game IMO.
