Playstation Move - So has anyone got one yet?

I'm tempted, very tempted but have no idea why as I only play shooty pew-pew games for the most part.

Thinking it might be good for a laugh, anyone got one yet as reviews seem very 'meh' ?

Re: Playstation Move - So has anyone got one yet?

    I've got one with:

    Sports Champion
    High Velicity Bowling
    Tumble
    and EyePet.

My Son absolutely LOVES this eye pet thing. Worth every penny just for that to be honest.

I really like Tumble and the Archery. High Velocity bolwing is like a totally new game with this controller compared to before they made it move compatible.

I've had to use a USB extension cable to get the camera to the top of my TV but it's all working fine.

It's annoying that I have to move the camera everytime my boy wants the EyePet on though. Might have to buy another one.

Got mine today, very underwhelmed so far calibration seems a mixed bag, sometimes works and sometimes doesn't in the same game (well demo) the shoot wont even calibrate at all (EDIT: Now it does), will need to try changing position of the camera and rearrange some furniture!

Has potential though, I can certainly see that!

I don't mind experimenting with the Sony Move (as in buying it and trying it out) because the price is actually decent. (£35.00 IIRC) Opposing the Kinect which is gonna' be around £120.00 (Again, IIRC.)

    That didn't take long.

Or You could of Wii four years ago and this would be all trivial.

for those of you who do have it, how can you envisage a proper game being played on it such as KZ3 and the new SOCOM? When I've seen the videos of people demonstrating it just looks awkward for them.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: Playstation Move - So has anyone got one yet?

I got it with Start the Party a couple of weeks ago and was pretty impressed with it. The controller is well built and sturdy though I don't think the camera is much cop. Start the Party was a great laugh and I just loved the way the controller suddenly morphed into a tennis racket, a sword, a fan, etc!

I'm holding off recommending it until more games come out for it as until that happens it's really just a gimmick IMHO.
An Atlantean Triumvirate, Ghosts of the Past, The Centre Cannot Hold
The Pillars of Britain, Foundations of the Reich, Cracks in the Pillars.

My books are available here for Amazon Kindle. Feedback always welcome!

Not touched it since the first couple of days.

    Got
    Start The Party
    Sports Champions
    Kung Fu Rider

Needs some more games. Great potential though and I like the controller
