Did you choose the free delivery?

If you didn't pay for the quicker delivery you shouldn't expect it to arrive on the same day as those who paid extra - it often does, but that's a measure of goodwill and a quiet time in the despatch offices.

You didn't expect them to completely re-do all the car models from the earlier PS2 versions of the game did you? That's why there's premium models and standard models. Something's better than nothing

Dont log into PSN until tomorrow. Game hangs as it appears not to be all 'switched on' yet.

Ie it's the 23rd today and release is tomorrow.
I've been playing on it all night problem free Edit: you can still play GT5 logged in, just when you click on the game lobby it freezes.

Also, mine was depatched on Sunday, you jelly guys

Also, The Zonda R looks the same (quality wise) as the standard 206 up above tbh, and thats a premium car - interiors look naff from the race perspective as well IMO, as did trial mountain. I'll try some 'new' stuff later and report back.

    Also, I can't get gold on the first B license trial, accelerate/break 200M - i feel like a noob

The black and Green racing overalls I'm donning made my day though, as did the Intro video. Seems you get rewarded in a similar fashion to Forza as well, ala, showered with cars although it probably makes more sense with this game

    Some reviews:

    IGN - 8.5/10
    http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/113/1136103p1.html
Gran Turismo 5 is a 10/10 simulator wrapped up in a 5/10 game – driving is as exhilarating as anything that’s gone before, and slavish obsession with the minutiae of many of its cars ensure it's an encyclopaedia of automotive delights. Its brilliance on the track, however is matched by its sloppiness off of it, and there’s a lack of polish that would at one time have seemed sacrilegious to the series. Ultimately its driving wins out to ensure that it’s still a great game, but it leaves that nagging doubt; this could have been a masterpiece were it not for the fact that Polyphony was so absorbed with the detail that it took its eye off the ball.
    Eurogamer - 9/10
    http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...rismo-5-review
Half-formed multiplayer is easily the most damaging symptom of Gran Turismo 5's long gestation in Kazunori Yamauchi's parallel universe, and thankfully it's one that can be fixed. Dreamed up five years ago and served up yesterday, it's an off-kilter vision of the future, a cumbersome game with odd priorities, certainly. But it's equally a game that heads off in unexpected and exciting directions, makes a few notable improvements, and overflows with love – for cars, for games technology and for its own mad pursuit. It's good that Gran Turismo's been away so long, because it's all the better to have it back.

All depends what sort of racing games you like.

More of a NFS/forza/mario kart style player - NO.
If you prefer things a little more realistic - YES
