Anyone still playing GT5?

Got back into playing regularly over the last week or so, don't suppose we have enough people still playing / willing to play to get a race going?

I pick it up every now and then, usually when I've got the house to myself, but mostly I tend to be finishing the story games I've got...

Just got rid of it, realised I was never going to complete the endurance races and gave up.

Decent game, but I'm sure the others took me far longer to get to the same stage.

Got a bit angry with my PS3 after it crashed about 7/8 of the way through an 8 hour race..

Let's just say the PS3 didn't win, but neither did I.

Never got it - enjoyed Forza far too much to worry. That, and I disliked GT5 Prologue...

Picked it up last night after hearing about the marathon races. Also noticed the game recently went platinum (if it wasn't today?) so even if you can't find players here, there might be a influx of newer players...

Anyway, back to my marathon race...

can always find rooms with people, i spend most of my time in some Dutch guys Nurburgring 24 hour course free-run. Just thought it would be nice to do some hexus races

Still 10,000s of people playing online.

Most of the plebs have left leaving a much better racing experience.

The Grumpy British Racing Club are still quite active I believe.

They have a wide variety of regular events and some very talented drivers to compete against.

yeah, im sure after the farce that was the Forza 3 Hopper system, people will be clamoring to get rectally intruded on all over again

first Forza i haven't pre-ordered, and looking at the charts it seems i'm not the only one being cautious.

I first bought it when it first came out, didn't really have much interest or time to play it at the time. I recently got back in to it and started a fresh new driver. I picked the Honda Civic as my first car, did a few A Spec races and upgraded it a little. Took to some of the seasonal events and jumped from rank 5 to rank 19 in one race and earnt about 5 mil in the process lol. Quite enjoying it again

I just picked one up second hand for a good bargain. Just started playing it but tempted to get the Logitech wheel for it. I wonder if it is worth the dosh.

I bought the wheel for £60, was well worth the money

For a stand, I smashed up my school D&T woodwork project and turned it from a TV stand into a steering wheel holder

A bit of reinforcement using blocks of wood and I was good to go.

It does get a bit tiring, but it really adds to the game imo
