If you have a PS4, grab the P.T. Demo now if you can.. since it could be your last chance! I hope these reports turn out to be wrong. I loved the P.T. Demo and had high hopes for Silent Hills. Maybe the game will still emerge in time.

A source close to director Guillermo del Toro has confirmed to IGN that the filmmaker's collaboration with Hideo Kojima on Silent Hills is "not gonna happen.

During a question and answer session last night with fans at the San Francisco International Film Festival, the director commented on his involvement with the project, saying he and Hideo Kojima will no longer be working together on the game.

I never had high hopes for Del Toro's involvement to be truthful. Not that I'm not a fan of his but he has so many plates spinning his involvement would have been limited.

Shame though, the Silent Hill franchise has been neglected lately and PT showed huge promise. There are probably deeper financial reasons but it does seem like a special kind of crack is being smoked at Konami these days
