Xbox One X controller keeps randomly disconnecting and connecting (not the controller

Hi everyone,

I’ve a really odd problem with my Xbox One X, which seems to be getting worse. When playing online (on any game, but notably COD), when I have a headset plugged in, if the problem starts, the audio cuts in and out, and I lose control of my player. At its worst, the controller will disconnect (shows the please connect a controller message) and will connect again eventually, or turn off completely, resulting in my having to turn it back on again.

It’s not the controller, because I have two, and have tried both. It’s not the headset, because I have 2, and have tried both. I’ve replaced the batteries with new ones, but still no luck.

Has anyone come across this issue before? Any advice would be much-appreciated, as I’m at a complete loss, apart from assuming it could just be a console issue, maybe the network chip/card.
