    What's your lighting setup ?

    Just out of curiosity, what lighting setup you guys use ? By that I mean any flash, strobe, other studio light and equipments etc ? or just on-board flash and available light ?

    I'm considering buying a 580EX II and have my 430 as slave
    Primary kit:
    Fuji S5 Pro - Nikkor AF 50/1.8 - Nikkor AF 85/1.8
    Epson RD-1

    Film Kit:
    Leica M3 - Summicron 50/2 DR - Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 - M-Rokkor 40/2

    Olympus OM2n - Zuiko 50/2 Macro - Zuiko 50/1.4 - Zuiko 35/2.8

    Not that much here by way of lighting as most of my stuff is outdoor, but I do have a couple of halogen lamps I use for macro (having first customised the WB). I also have a couple of slave flash units to go with the D70's internal.

    Like I said, not a lot....

    One Nikon SB-28, and a Topca somethingorother, nearly always off camera. And a few homemade snoots. And lots and lots of time spent reading www.strobist.com, which is much more useful than buying more equipment

    i got a 430ex the other day, I don't use a flash much but wanted soemthing that could be linked to the AF in my camera. used it at a wedding recently, cracking results.

    Yeah flash is cool if you can control it. And read Strobist alot too, but I really need a slave strobe to practice lol
