    Done

I picked up a Dazzle DVT-Stick (usb2) the other day for £20 in Currys (I was bored), and it's a nice little performer, the direct mpeg-2 stream save to disk works very well, and the quality is great, especially for £20

it had better bloody work, DVB-T signals are already mpeg2. saving to disk involves nothing more complex than, erm, saving to disk

    *sigh*

It's very good as in the quality is good, and the system doesn't seem to drop any frames, no glitches etc.

Well. There are plenty of people with TV cards on here. Me being one of them.

A PCI card would be better, but USB will work. The other thing you need to decide is whether you want to start recording TV? If you do, then you need to think about whether you want a dual DVB-T tuner or a single tuner.

A dual tuner card will allow you to watch one channel and record another or record 2 channels at once.

I would recommend Hauppauge and Pinnacle. Be sure to check for Vista drivers before buying though.

A single tuner will cost £20+, a dual tuner will cost £50+.

Look at the Pinnacle DVB-T PCTV for around £22 or the Hauppauge Nova-T 500 for about £55
