    HMDI maximum length?

    Hi All,
I'm considering running HDMI from an amp to a splitter so that I can watch stuff from high def sources all around the house. What's the maximum length of a HDMI cable before it starts to breakdown?

    Cheers...

    Hi

You are probably going to want a decent cable like Supra, Chord or bettercables for anything over 10m. You could also check out Mark Grant Cables he does have a good reputation

A Hdmi booster may also be of use (with a decent cable you may not need one)

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

    All the best

Oh yes, but I figured as I'm getting a builder in to do that, may as well get someone in at the same time to Cat-6 and properly AV wire the house too.

Cool - I'll drape them across the room before I actually get everything wired up properly to check the signal degredation.....

    Cheers....
