I love manga. Got my mates into it a couple of weeks ago and now they have started a collection, lots of 3x3 eyes and. Blood the last vompire. I cant remember the others. Akira was the first one i saw. it was fantastic. But ghost in the shell remains my favourite

Not a massive anime fan. I do like the violent ones though Ninja Scroll is my fave and then I think Fist of the North Star is a close second.

My girlfriend's an anime fanatic, has loadsa vids, comics, etc and draws it herself. I don't mind it (I'm sure there are worse hobbie's g/f's can have) but find some of the films boring and cheesy.

Urotsukidoji is fing weird man...veeeery strange.

Doomed Megalopolis, I saw on Channel 4 years ago, love to get a copy on dvd but it doesn't seem to be out over here...

Loved Akira, got Metropolis a month or so ago and that was very entertaining in terms of wow factor, but the story wasn't great...v. cool though.

Love to watch more, but....got the first half of Neon Genesis Evangelion, of which I have watched half, but its a bit odd....is the second half more coherent??

Make sure you get the unedited Ninja Scroll. The R2 stuff has bits taken out

ME ME!! I'm trying to watch as much anime as possible.

My first proper Anime I watched was Evangelion. I watched all the series and movies over the space of about 3-4 days. And WOW! I have to say that thats the only time that a show has had such an effect on me. I literally couldnt stop watching it.

Then I guess the next would be Outlaw Star which I watched while CNX were showing it. That was way lighter in tone and less absorbing, but a damn fine show.

I've watched about 50% of Cowboy Bebop so far and I love what I've seen up to now.

I've only really watched Ghost in the Shell and Blood in terms of movies, but I've got Metropolis, Blue, Ninja Scroll and a few others to get around to watching.

I saw the animatrix, not quite the same but close.

I'm in the middle of watching a few series atm, Blue Gender, Noir and Witch Hunter Robin. And I have to say I'm very impressed by Witch Hunter Robin. I've not seen many anime that have the same look as it, its rather dark and moody artwork, but its seeming like a damn fine series.

I've also watched quite a few of the DBZ and DBGT episodes now as my house mates a DBZ maniac.

Its nice to see a few other fans round here.
